Open Letter from Destiny Church to BGEA: Franklin Graham at the Hydro Glasgow – 30th May 2020

TO: OUR FRIENDS AT BGEA,

Firstly to say how encouraged we were to see so many pastors and leaders attend the launch evening a few months back at the DoubleTree Hotel.

It was also our privilege to join you in the Lomond Suite at the SEC for the prayer gathering last week.

Clearly God is bringing the church together as we work towards the Graham Tour visiting Glasgow on the 30th May.

We noted with sadness the recent negative press in Liverpool and subsequent publicity around a petition in Glasgow started by the Rev Bryan Kerr of the C of S.

I am pleased to tell you the pastors and leaders we know are in full support of this event including all those in the Destiny Family.

We have contacted the Glasgow Times and SEC to advise them of our support.

Additionally, we wanted to say to you guys, in the event the Hydro booking was cancelled you could still use our buildings in Glasgow and Edinburgh entirely free and run multiple meetings.

Hopefully, it does not come to that and we remain in prayer to see an avalanche of decisions for Christ in the Hydro on the 30th May.

Anything else we can do please just say.

Craig Denham

Lead Pastor, Destiny Glasgow
